DIY/ The Leo Tee

As you might remember in this post, I’ve been since then searching for a way to minimize the unchic bright leo print on this scarf.

So the idea for today’s DIY has been quite simple: recovering a printed material with a layer of chiffon silk to play with transparencies and reduce bright tones. You are probably going to say “Ok, but what’s coming up with this scarf?”

I decided to apply one half each side of the tee and creating puffy shoulders. The result looks like a cropped waistcoat from some distance, but I finally find it works well!

Combine metallic copper leather with african style ribbon on shoulder patches, and here is what you get.

Welcome to Baby Valentine!

Last weekend my good friend get her first daughter, Valentine… I am so happy that everyone is healthy, and I enjoyed to discovered the first pics- she’s very cute. As I can’t visit them for the moment I thought it was the perfect opportunity to create a DIY set of baby clothes & accessories. Baby stuffs are however something new for me.

These were two simple organic tees that I embellished with zebra print & ribbon, the other one with ribbon and charm.
