Finding this old white oversized shirt and leather bag in my parents’ house made seriously my day – but i can remember the day i purchased them very well. The shirt is from 2009 when i was living in Cologne, Germany; oversized shirts are kind of timeless, finally it fits to everything! I bought the second item in a small designer shop on the south french coast in 2003, i wore it a lot during summer time.

White accessories are not my favorite, but this bag is just different: i love the silver studs details and its shape. It’s basically a shopper that i can fold onto a clutch, so i can really play with it according to the occasion.

Zara oversized shirt & tank top,
vintage striped shorts,
designer white & silver bag (i don’t remember the label)
vintage fake python belt,
YSL lipstick “Rouge Volupté”
Marc O’Polo wedges.
DIY ankle chain*

I did this necklace 2 months ago, today i discovered that i can also wear it like an ankle chain; i used white & turquoise skulls purchased in Greece last year & different colored beads.

Time for a small break this afternoon.! Well, there’s something i didn’t show you from my thrifting tour this weekend! Yesterday was a raining day so i worked a bit on it.

At first sight these vintage earrings had obviously everything i like: the golden metal, the ethno style… However something was going wrong with them. Can’t explain why. They might have looked too heavy with these long (unfinished) hooden beads.

-

Suddenly need of colors and clear lines, so i changed the beads pendants with blue/ orange/ black tones,

DIY ethno earrings
H&M blouse
Vintage python bag
Bio beauté skin lotion by Nuxe, perfect for travels/

.. And i reused the hooden beads to make a fine chocker. Still looks a bit ethnic -but chic with Swarovski crystal black beads.

My new addiction: pink, in every shades and forms. And jewels. The last one is quite recent, but i can’t help searching new styles and ideas at the moment.

This time i did a new necklace from my mom’s jewel that comes from Mexico. These are real stones, i don’t really know how it’s called but i find them just beautiful. So i’ve add a hint of turquoise blue and charms on a silver chain with a ring, maybe this brings me luck ;! i’m working on an exciting project.. but i will tell you more about it tomorrow!

Hi everyone, how are you doing today? As i noticed to you last time, it’s DIY Sunday!..

That’s what i wore yesterday with my new plastron -inspired from Marni, i love it! It’s not the first time that i used plastic book covers, remember here

In France we’re used to follow the “only 1  jewel styling rule” which means that if you wear earrings you shouldn’t wear anythin else. I keep thinking that it depends of the jewel size, fine jewelry can be boring sometimes. But the DIY of today is such a statement piece i’ve had to follow this famous rule! -You should know that too much sun never makes me smile on the pictures when i don’t wear sunnies : /

Boyfriend jacket & pants, H&M
Striped sweater, Zara
DIY necklace
Booties, Minelli

*DIY, what you’ll need:

-natural nail polish, scissors, plated jump rings & brass crimp beads, 2 pleated head pins, a bent nose plier for jewelry, nylon thread 0,35 mm diam/ a needle and fine nylon thread

-1 plastic book cover,

-different beads of ceramic/ plastic/ metal, pearls, a round donut, a metal round coin and a filigree metal cap. 1,50 m black satin ribbon in 0,5 cm wide.

First make a selection of potential beads and accessories that could be matched together. Take your time and don’t hesitate to change some details along the DIY. I first started with a green plastic, but i’ve had to change later with a violet color.

Place the beads right around the central elements (metal coin, filigree cap & round donut).

Cut 3 triangles in the plastic and wrap 3 cones. The picture above is not accurate so pierce only one of them at the top with a large needle and add a plated jump ring throughough the material.

1. Fix the 2 others cones with the nylon thread on the reverse side of the filigree metal cap. Use some nail polish to fix the finishings.

2. Fix the metal coin on the right side above the cone.

3. Use the plated head pins with 2 pearls to fix it above the last cone. Round up the metal at the reverse side to finish.
4. Add some plastic petals. Fix the last cone with the jump ring on one side.

5. Use nylon thread for each side of the necklace and finish with brass crimp beads. Add the ribbon…
DONE!

I hope you like it, if you have any question feel free to ask!
Have a nice day!
