Browsing home decor websites is been my ritual n°1 in the morning over the past weeks. As i told you here, we are preparing our moving to Switzerland and i’m completely excited about the idea that something new is waiting for us. Decorating and DIYing is strongly part of this excitement!.
Loft, industrial, white, hood, minimalism, hints of colors: that’s all i want!

I know nothing better than the satisfaction of finding new ways to use products around you instead of throwing them. These are 3 ideas that i’ve been using in my office/ workshop for now.
So what to do with a metal cutlery tray, old table mats and mini jam jars?

I love the industrial touch of this metal pencil tray onto my working table…

the round table mats have becoming cute mood boards!

and the mini jars are perfect to store beads and small jewels elements!
Do you guys also have some upcycling ideas to share here?. It’s been raining today, it’s the opportunity to bring some order to the apartment! : )
See you tomorrow!

To me one of the worst “no-go” in home decor is collecting every single alcohol bottle from past events/ parties and aligning them along a window edge! The “rehab-alcoholic decor” could be avoided by a simple way, for example with flowers.
I still have this Moët & Chandon chill box since Christmas so i thought i could add flowers and knitting tools in each sides of the box.

Hope you’ve had a nice weekend!
Snow is back here, i’m quite sure that one more knitted collar won’t be enough these times…
See you!

The idea of this DIY has been evolving in my mind since this summer, i’ve finally put it in practice in my apartment recently…
I found an old military set for children at the flea market and i thought i could create a 3D frame with golden paint and glue.
I set it in my kitchen.

How does it work:
1. You need a frame (from Ikea), gold spray paint, newspaper, glue. 1 military set.
2. First spray the frame: it doesn’t have to be regular -i did shades, for example.
3. Then spray the army elements, one time on the right side, then on the back
4. After paint has dried, glue each military men as well aircraft & co. around the frame.

I used newspaper to draw the painting in the middle ; I love to mix antonyms in home decor, i find it gives a lot of emotion.
Hope you like it, have a wonderful day!
