I’ve been really enjoying following the NY fashion week, there are so many things that remind me our trip over there last summer! These 10.000 feelings that you catch along the day, everywhere: in the streets, in restaurants, in hotels, on people...

But if i should define in some words my own impressions of this FW, i’d say “energy”, “plurality” and a kind of “magic”. Here my favorite pictures and styles.

Streetstyle & Rodarte Show: chunky knits & shearling jackets from AfterDrk

Alexander Wang & Victoria Beckham show via Cool to Wear. Like every season i love alexander wang for his work on materials and colors, this time a deep collection around lack, white & burgundy in a military style. More than before i really believe in Victoria Beckham’s high credibility. She’s conversant at shapes and colors, playing with femininity and casual lines.

Proenza Schouler via Freshnet. Love the material mixes and well-strutured pieces. A bit 50′s.

Marc Jacobs show by The Sartorialist. Textures, colors and shapes inspired from “Alice in Wonderland”. Completely surprising!

Probably one of the most interesting trend this season; it involves a lot of neutral tones like white, pastels, nudes and new concepts. It’s not just about purity or romanticism.

Spirituality is a newcomer!

Oh my, it’s been quite cold this weekend! We stayed at home and honored the definition of “laziness”…

(Well, not exactly.)

I’m still working on this DIY project, with leather cuts and zip pockets:

I’ve found this metal merchandiser in a vintage shop for 2€, it makes a perfect sunnies holder!

Since i’ve realized that i was missing a short jacket, i’m completely obsessed with every single details on both coats and jackets. I find it particularly difficult to find a coat or a jacket that i think i’ll love to wear over several seasons and that looks not only great but also timeless.

Here is a small but diverse selection of what i’ve been loving/

So i guess that i could turn this long vintage coat found at the market into something shorter, the great thing is that it’s not really a fitted cut. Still hesitating with the details i’d add on it; leather patches, buckles, fake fur?

I don’t really know what motivated me to buy that thing that i still never wore, and that’s exactly why I’m really excited with this new project ; )

This is a vintage woven cap found at my Grandma’s home, i find it’s form so similar to Burberry’s Spring/ Summer collection!

I’m not sure that i’d would like to wear this big pompom on the top like on the original, that’s nice but i prefer to see it on the others, so i’d likely change the light ribbon against a larger and black satin one.

Well, if only this cap fitted me…
