DIY: Feathers Rock!
Last week I happened to find a round black feather trim in my huge craft box, so I thought it would be time for a new DIY. Pencil skirts combined with sweaters are my favorite costume currently, however I’ve been really surprised to see the effect 75 cm feather trim has had on this piece. It seems to be a completely different skirt, don’t you think?
Here “before” & “after”:

Here is what you need:
-a pencil skirt,
-about 80 cm feather black trim (it simply has to fit the skirt measurements)
-scissors, needle & thread.
1. You first have to strengthen the ends of the trim with small stitches, it will last longer time.
2. Then apply the trim on the skirt’s hemline, and start to sew with small stitches as well:
This is how it should look inside; There should be 3 to 4 cm distance between each stitch, in order to sew the trim faster.
3. Follow this step until the end and finish the work.
The feathered skirt is ready! Ready for Fall, not for rain, be careful!
I hope you enjoyed it, wish you a great day!
