Comfy with sneakers and a great coat, is there a better way to start the year? I used to wear camel color with warm tones likes vibrant oranges and reds- even with bright yellows- and with black, of course. Until I tried it with blue shades. Less radical than paired with black, I like it a lot with navy and baby blue.
This is my beloved alpaca coat from Paula Immich Berlin that I bought 4 years ago -and it doesn’t get old! Amazing material and oversized shape, really. And it fits to many things, chic or sporty. So this is the way I prefer it, with timeless pieces and a great mini bag -by Rebecca Minkoff, my very first one!
This is a very special post today -as Christmas is coming, it’s also ‘Giveaway time‘! I’m very grateful to be part of this ‘Let’s celebrate’ action with Zalando. You’ll find at the end of the post how to win a 100.- voucher on the online shop!
At this time of the year I always loved fairy tales, and the location of ‘Lillydale’ embodies a kind of dreamy spirit. So this is exactly how I would spend Christmas time: with family in a cosy, dreamy atmosphere peppered of powder tones and shinning details. Lost in the nature, with significant presents…
Changing your handbag frequently can be really a frustrating feeling -women know it best, for sure! Sinead Shannon-Roche, the designer behind the belgian brand ‘Versa Versa‘ definitely knows a lot about it -and started to create versatile bags with removable covers. The bags are handmade with a very soft leather quality and thanks to a clever zip concept your bag will fit to different outfits and moods.
The success of the brand didn’t delay to come, and you can imagine how excited I was as I discovered it in Paris during last Who’s Next fair trade. The most difficult was to choose the right color combo -for the bag itself and for the covers. Curious? Here my daily bag ‘Buenos Aires’, in grey with first the galusha cover…
Perfect with colored outfit and diverse patterns. Also like to mix this chic version with jeans as ‘Stilbruch’.
Zip zap! Here it is again with the yellow calfhair cover. I find grey and yellow quite modern, it has to be said that more than 3 colors an outfit are ‘dangerous’. I wear it with dark blue, light grey shades and some brown tones. ‘Some’ because it doesn’t match all of them…
Take for example my beloved geometric ethno scarf -remember this post. We have to admit it’s not the perfect combo.
In this kind of situation, when starting to hesitate and thinking about to change your whole costume: stop now. Zip zap, guess what? It fitted perfectly some seconds after. Well you should know a bit about me: I love the idea that it’s a long-term investment, seasonal stuffs are just not my thing.
C’est fait! As I said I like it pretty much with jeans, this time with striped top and cosy angora long cardigan. I’m really looking forward new cover patterns and colors next season.
I realized some time ago how valuable having only less but one of a kind friends truly is. Mariella is the very first person I met when I moved in Zurich city last year, so we don’t know each other for a long time, but I like her ‘coolness’, whatever happens. If it’s true that I love spending time together, by all opportunities -we love fashion as well. And often, we fall in love in the same or at least quite similar stuff. Even for this shoot, we could have exchange our clothes…
She brought this designer dress while her last trip to Asia, leather sandals by Visconti & Du Réau via Monadico. I’m wearing a white top by Ffixxed via Opia (available here in blue), an ‘ad hoc’ belt part of an old dress, Mango trousers and Les Tropeziennes by M Belarbi leather sandals.
And now, let’s pack the suitcase! #leavingforholidays
This season I’ve had the need to get new mid-season jackets. I felt in love in the Berenik collection as I saw it live on the Blickfang fair. The swiss label is discreet and focuses on essential values, that’s what I liked. The kind of egg shape, the details as well as the color of this coat immediately caught my attention.
I first wore it some time ago for an event shopping night in Zurich, Kreis 1, spent with my friend & room mate Regine. The outfit works well with a simple jean and tee-shirt, but only if shoes and accessories are qualitative. Go for leather and fine embroideries…
The polo shirt has been finished this week! The large basic top let place to a chic but sportive shirt; You’ll find the whole tutorial in german language, as usual, on annabelle blog.
I reused the sleeves borders for the ruffles on the front, and kept the oversized shape on the armholes. Really like it -So it’s time to wear it! It was yesterday in Seefeld, I paired it with straight fit pants and velvet small bag. Yellow and navy blue look always great together.
