Nope, it’s not too late…
It’s just been too hot last days, so that natural materials actually belong to my daily stuffs. What, leather, a light material? No, not that heavy…
Only on details.
…without lace! There are some details that really sound contradictive. I first loved the lace in the back of this jacket when I purchased it, remember I wore it about 2 years ago here, but since then I didn’t use wearing it that much… mainly because of those same laces. Time goes forwards, we are all changing, so I finally removed them -it looks much better now! So this is the way I wore it today.
Leather jacket, Dsquared. Bleached jeans, Stefanel. American Apparel tee-shirt. Silk blouse by Iro. Vigneron copper pumps.
I already told you here about my kind of obsession with this season’s Dries collection, so I’ve been looking forward to match opposite prints, as far as opposite does not mean uncompatible- particularly flowers & stripes. According to me the key is to only mix neutral & bright colors together.
This time I experienced layerings around those 2 patterns in a (real) art gallery. Let’s go in 4 steps!
1. A simple chiffon blouse with pencil skirt. A nice starter.
