Up the Paper Magazine/ 1st Editorial Project
I already told you some time ago about this project for Up the paper magazine, the new issue is been finally out…
And here is the page that i have edited! I guess it would be great for the readers to see the whole process of one of my DIY projects, from the beginning till the outfit shoot.
-
Concept, pictures and design by me.
It all began with an old cover from the french Elle magazine, the Givenchy collection and some Swarovski crystal elements that reminded spring details.
Then i grab a vintage men shirt at Wams, a local second hand store.
After having updated the shirt cut I’ve finally add embroideries on the collar, mixing silver studs, colored crystal & golden beads.
I decided to realize structured lines that would contrast and give more character to the “romantic” side of this shirt.
The outfit doesn’t need to be much sophisticated nor complicated, i choose a black jeans and taupe suede leather booties. The collar it-self is a jewel piece, or likely a garden. I really love it!
So, how do you find the shirt and the page?
